British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho \u201cTiny\u201d Ubiribo<\/strong> died at the age of 43 after suffering a fatal complication following a cosmetic procedure in Bangkok, Thailand. A London coroner later ruled that his death was caused by a pulmonary embolism associated with a hyaluronic-acid injection used during the procedure.<\/p>\n

A Procedure That Ended in Tragedy<\/h3>\n

Ubiribo was in Thailand with his wife when he underwent the procedure on March 5, 2026.<\/p>\n

According to evidence reported from the inquest, the treatment involved approximately 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid<\/strong>. The clinic later told Thai authorities that it had treated Ubiribo five times since 2024, with the final treatment being his fifth.<\/p>\n

Afterward, he reportedly developed chest pain and collapsed.<\/p>\n

He was taken to a Bangkok hospital, where doctors suspected a pulmonary embolism. Medical staff attempted resuscitation for more than 100 minutes, but he died in the early hours of March 6.<\/p>\n

What Did the Coroner Find?<\/h3>\n

A post-mortem examination and toxicology investigation concluded that the hyaluronic acid injection was associated with the fatal pulmonary embolism.<\/p>\n

The finding has since prompted Thai authorities to investigate the clinic, including whether it was properly licensed and whether required health and safety procedures were followed.<\/p>\n

Authorities have not publicly announced a finding of professional misconduct or malpractice against the clinic.<\/p>\n

Months after his death, Ubiribo was laid to rest in London.<\/p>\n
