A Missouri father\u2019s decision to stand up for his teenage daughter has become the center of a disturbing criminal case involving allegations of bribery, murder and an attempted cover-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kcoree Warren, a father from Ferguson, Missouri, reported an alleged sexual assault involving his 15-year-old daughter to police. Prosecutors later alleged that people connected to the case tried to convince him to stop cooperating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to court records reported by local news outlets, Warren was offered $12,000<\/strong> to stay quiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He refused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case began with Warren’s daughter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Prosecutors say the investigation began after Lavor Harmon allegedly met Warren\u2019s daughter while she was walking home from her school bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities allege that Harmon later picked up the teenager and took her to a residence, where the alleged sexual assault occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warren reported the incident to police, and Harmon was subsequently charged with statutory rape and statutory sodomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, investigators say, the situation took a much darker turn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About 10 days after Harmon was charged, prosecutors say his sister, Lavonda Harmon, went to Warren\u2019s home with another man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to investigators, they offered Warren $12,000<\/strong> in exchange for staying quiet and no longer cooperating with the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warren allegedly refused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For him, the issue was not about money. It was about what had happened to his daughter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weeks later, Warren was killed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On July 8, 2025, Warren was inside his Ferguson home on Bayview Drive when authorities say a gunman approached and shot him through the glass door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warren died from his injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators later identified Andrew Klaus as the alleged shooter. Prosecutors say Klaus was associated with people connected to Harmon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the story did not end there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The alleged gunman was also killed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Authorities say Klaus was killed later that same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A white Kia believed to have been connected to the shootings was also found badly burned, adding another disturbing element to the investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prosecutors eventually alleged that Lavor Harmon, Anthony L. Young and Anthony D. Young were involved in a conspiracy surrounding Warren\u2019s killing and the subsequent killing of Klaus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A grand jury indicted all three men on charges including two counts of first-degree murder, armed criminal action, burning or exploding property, and tampering with physical evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lavonda Harmon was separately charged with witness tampering over the alleged $12,000 offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A father remembered by his neighbors<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the court documents and shocking allegations, neighbors remembered Warren as a devoted father and a good neighbor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One neighbor described him as someone who took care of his children and his home. Warren\u2019s family reportedly did not return to the house after the shooting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case remains ongoing, and the allegations against the defendants have not been proven in court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities have also indicated that the investigation could lead to additional charges as investigators continue examining what happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
