Jamie Foxx says dating outside his race has never made him feel any less committed to Black people.
“Addressing his past joke about being “done with white women,” Foxx said audiences sometimes mistake comedy for literal statements, especially once clips get pulled into podcasts and algorithms. His actual philosophy is simple: “Love who you love. Just don’t forget who you are.”
Foxx said he’ll date whoever he chooses while remaining grounded in who he is as a Black man, pointing to his advocacy around George Floyd, Trayvon Martin and Ahmaud Arbery as part of that record.”
